Susan Austin

Susan Austin lives and writes in Felt, Idaho. She has been employed as a biologist for a Hawaiian monk seal study, a foreign fisheries observer in the Bering Sea, a raptor biologist perched on high cliffs in the realm of bald eagles, and as a library assistant surrounded by books, books, books. Her writing has been published in Best New American Voices 2003, Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review, Hanging Loose, Talking River Review, Southwestern American Literature, and the anthologies Leaning Into The Wind, and Veterans of War, Veterans of Peace, among others.
