Carol Deering

Carol Deering was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, and has also lived in Arizona, Michigan, Germany, Washington State, and, for a great many years now, Riverton, Wyoming.  She received the Wyoming Arts Council Fellowship in Poetry for 1999, and was selected by the Bearlodge Writers for a week-long writing residency at Devils Tower in 1998.  She has been writing since she was 14 years old, and fifty of her poems have been published in journals and anthologies, some on the internet.  Carol is a founding member of the West Thumb Poets and is Past President of Wyoming Writers, Inc.
