Lori Howe teaches English and creative writing workshops on the Albany County Campus of LCCC. She holds a B.A. in Spanish, an M.A. in English, and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Wyoming. Her poetry and non-fiction have appeared in Northern Lights, Gamut’s Northern Front, Owen Wister Review, Frontiers Magazine, Pilgrimage, UWYO Magazine, Bluelight, Open Window Review and other journals, books, and anthologies, and on Wyoming Public Radio’s “Open Spaces.” She recently completed her first full-length collection of poems, High Lonesome, on the ghost towns of Wyoming’s southern corridor. (Elm Books, November 2013). She is the Editor in Chief of Open Window Review.
