she had three pieces chosen for permanent display at the Steele Creek Lodge in Bristol,
TN. She has since been the winner of the Amateur Black and White Nature division in the
Railgrass Photography Contest in Kingsport, TN, has had one of her landscape photos chosen
for inclusion in a slide show on a national website, and has had two month-long installations in
Kingsport and Knoxville, TN.
Amy is a graduate of the University of Wyoming where she earned her master’s degree in
anthropology, graduating magna cum laude. After working as a court-appointed special
advocate for abused and neglected children for eight years, she left her position to attend law
school, where she is now in her second year. She does photography for the law school as well
as for her own mental health.
