Thomas J. Glasco

Thomas J. Glasco graduated from a one-room country school in Kansas. For his eighth grade graduation, he recited “The Twins” by Henry L. Leigh. This was one of the early sparks of his love for poetry. He taught English for a short time and then went on to earn his master’s degree in social work (MSW) After thirty years in this service, he has committed to his poetry full time. Tom has five poetry books to his credit: Take Hold My Heart, Mud On A Stick, Follow The Swans, Under The Mulberry Tree, and Sweet Water Sings. Tom was named 2010 Senior Poet Laureate of Colorado by the Amy Kitchener, Angels Without Wings Foundation.
