Adalgiza Firmina Bonifacio

Adalgiza Firmina Bonifacio is a student at the Albany County Campus of LCCC. She is from Angola/Luanda. Her official language is Portuguese, while her native language is Umbundo. She is in the United States as an international student and Sophomore and will pursue a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Wyoming. Her contribution to Open Window, “The Civil War,” is an unflinching memoir of the Angolan civil war that occurred during her childhood and which still impacts every aspect of the way she lives in and views the world. She strives to be respectful, humble, and to always fulfill her responsibilities. She is 24 years old and lives in Laramie, Wyoming.

Her favorite motto is: “Do not do to others what you wouldn’t like others to do to you.”
